Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, in remarks to students at the University of Notre Dame, warned against overthrowing “our institutions” by those who seek short-term gratuities and partisan political whims. often at the expense of the Constitution – very often because they care little about preserving the Constitution.

He scores a point. Today’s vicious politics are killing the Constitution.

What started as a slow decades-long project under progressive will and the Democratic Party shifted to the left, and gained momentum under the abuses of the Barack Obama administration – the turning point of law and law. order and principles of the democratic republic and to “I want this and I want this now!†pen and cell phone moans – has now landed squarely in Joe Biden’s White House lap as a big reset of the Constitution.

Democrats don’t even hide from being barely above Marxism now. The party has become a massive, muscular arm of the Chinese will.

The battle for healthcare freedom alone proves it.

“24 GOP states threaten legal action against Biden’s ‘disastrous’ vaccine mandate,” Fox News wrote in a recent headline.

“Gov. Kristi Noem: If President Biden demands vaccines, South Dakota will see it in court, â€USA Today wrote in another recent headline.

Why are we still here?

Once upon a time – once upon a time we were a free society – it was taken for granted in America that citizens had the right to decide whether or not to be vaccinated. Even the vaccines required as a condition of entry into public schools come with exemption kits. And this is the emphasis of parental rights, the authority of the individual, the constitutional presumption of power in the hands of the people over government.

But in just over a year, the foundations of American society and governance have changed.

The power of the people has given way to the power of the big government.

With the coronavirus – a disease much less deadly and much less dangerous than other health issues linked to other vaccine mandates – the proper role of government has been dismissed. Suddenly, for a virus that is believed to have caused or contributed to 666,440 deaths – out of 41.6 million cases, according to the latest information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention – suddenly, for that 1.6% death toll, the America has gone mad.

Most people who contract COVID-19 recover from COVID-19.

Most people who test positive for the coronavirus recover from the coronavirus.

Many others are walking around positive but unconscious because they don’t feel any symptoms, so don’t get tested. In other words: they are not sick.
Yet the coronavirus crackdown has swept across America, forcing churches to close, students to stay at home, businesses to close and to view adults as little more than scared sheep.

It is time to put an end to the unconstitutional blockades of individual freedoms. Socialists, Communists and Collectivists are coming in force – they feel fear, they feel their time has come. And they won’t stop until they are forced to stop.

Biden can issue this, Democrats can demand that left-wing state governors can send their health bureaucrats to demand this and that. But at the end of the day, it’s all about the Constitution. It’s all about law and order.

Ultimately, it’s really about what freedom-conscious Americans are willing to do to force offenders, secularists, and power hungers to obey the limited government constructs of the Constitution. Nowadays, the Constitution means only what the loudest ones want it to mean.

It’s time for those who love the homeland to show America’s enemies what the Constitution really means. It is not too late. But it’s getting late. The fight for God-given freedoms must never be surrendered – not until the last collectivist cockroach is pushed into the shadows, not before the last Communist-minded pinhead is pushed into the corner.

American exceptionalism is real. And it transcends partisan politics – if we insist on it.
